EVENT RULES
ELOCUTION
- The speech should be in Hindi or English.
- Participants should use only one language while speaking.
- Participants will be given 5 minutes to speak.
- Slang language will lead to disqualification.
- THE JUDGES WILL DECIDE WHETHER THERE HAS BEEN ANY VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE RULES AND THEIR DECISION WILL BE FINAL
TOPICS:
1.The new normal: how long will it last?
2.Global pandemic: has it been a good or a bad thing on a personal level?
3.Mental health in the age of social distancing
4.Should work from home continue even after mass vaccination?
FACE PAINTING
- Models’ faces should be without makeup at the commencement of the event.
- Participants should bring their own models.
- Only poster colors or acrylic colors are allowed.
- Time limit is 1 hour.
- After completion of the event, participants must upload the photo of their models on the designated platform within 10 minutes.
Please note- After 45 minutes of the event have passed, participants can start submitting their photos on the designated platform.
STORY WRITING
- Last date of submission is 12th Jan,2021. on nkstudentscouncil@gmail.com
- Plagiarism is not allowed.
- No use of slang or absurd languages are allowed.
- The Story should be should be submitted in Word Document
- Format of submission is as follows:
- - First Page: Title of Story
- - Second Page: Plagiarism Report
- - Third Page: Explanation of the kind of New Normal depicted in the story.
- - Fourth Page onwards: Story.
- Word limit is 1500 words.
- Please insert page numbers in the format of 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc.
- At the bottom of the last page please type The End
Please note- In some way or the other, your story has to depict your vision/idea of "the New Normal".
On the cover page, you can type a preface to explain what kind of new normal you have depicted in your story.
SOLO SINGING
- Medley of Bollywood songs are only allowed.
- Minus 1 tracks and/or accompanist are allowed.
- Electronic Tanpura is also allowed.
- Time limit is 3 to 5 minutes.
SOLO DANCE
- Medley of Bollywood songs are only allowed.
- The participant should be clearly visible in the video and have enough room to dance safely.
- Props are allowed.
- Time limit is 3 to 6 minutes.
MONO ACTING
- The theme is emotions.
- Props are allowed.
- Mimicry is not allowed.
- Only Hindi and/or English languages should be used in the performance.
- Time limit is 3minutes.
